Disney Cruise Line - Trans-Atlantic Itinerary Change

Having heard the news of Disney Cruise Line's decision to change the itinerary for the 2015 Eastbound Trans-Atlantic crossing, we feel the need to address our sailing guests.

Although we share your disappointment, we support & understand the difficult decision Disney Cruise Line was forced to make. Decisions of this magnitude aren't easy nor taken lightly. To ensure the safety and security of guests & crew; the cruise is forced to deviate around the heavy ice flows that are in the area of St John's-Newfoundland & Iceland. This year Eastern Canada experienced a more harsh winter than most. This, coupled with a tardy start to Spring, makes navigating the seas too dangerous to put guests at risk.

As I mentioned earlier, nobody is more disappointed than we are. The founding members of Mouse Voyages Travel were scheduled to greet the ship as it sailed into the port of St-John's. Plane tickets have been bought, a ship inspection was planned, a home has been rented & paid for, and a wine & cheese was organized for all of our sailing guests, travelling friends, & DCL buddies.

Although it saddens us that we won't be able to enjoy your company, your safiety is the number one priority.

We appreciate your understanding, and we know you will have a magical cruise, regardless.
