Kongfrontation, one of the original attractions from Universal Studios Florida, closed in 2002, and was replaced by Revenge of the Mummy. Although no official announcement has been made, the new Kong-themed attraction is rumoured to be a truly immersive experience blending 3D visual effects, and animatronics. Being constructed between Toon Lagoon, and Jurassic Park; this new attraction is a behemoth in size & scope.

What could be hiding behind those construction walls at Universal Islands of Adventure, is anybodies guess at this point. Construction is ongoing. We'll share the news when official word is given by Universal.

In the meantime, take a look at the trailer for Skull Island being released 2016.
