Disney Cruise Line - Trans-Atlantic Itinerary Change
Having heard the news of Disney Cruise Line's decision to change the itinerary for the 2015 Eastbound Trans-Atlantic crossing, we feel the need to address our sailing guests.
Although we share your disappointment, we support & understand the difficult decision Disney Cruise Line was forced to make. Decisions of this magnitude aren't easy nor taken lightly. To ensure the safety and security of guests & crew; the cruise is forced to deviate around the heavy ice flows that are in the area of St John's-Newfoundland & Iceland. This year Eastern Canada experienced a more harsh winter than most. This, coupled with a tardy start to Spring, makes navigating the seas too dangerous to put guests at risk.

Epcot's Norway Pavillion is being "Frozen"
With the popularity of the "Frozen" franchise, it was just a matter of time before the rumours that World Showcase: Norway Pavillion would get a Frozen transformation, came true. Today, Disney Parks announced that Maelstrom, Norway's boat attraction, would be replaced with a Frozen themed attraction. The new attraction will bring guests to Arendelle, and immerse them in many of their favourite moments & music from this hugely succesful animated feature.
Family Fun @ Hollywood Drive-in Golf
One of the seemingly overlooked recreational activities at Universal Orlando Resort is Hollywood Drive-In Golf at CityWalk. This is a perfect opportunity for your family to enjoy some CityWalk fun, before or after a meal. I prefer the evening when the course is lit up and the golfballs glow & twinkle.
Hogwart's Express Celebrates - One Millionth Rider
How did I miss this little wizardly nugget of information? This is just CRAZY!
Wizarding World of Harry Potter had been open for only a month when, on August 7th, the One MILLIONTH rider boarded the Hogwart's Express between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
Disney Fly Medley - Arranged by Jamey Ray
While creeping social media, this morning; I came across this little gem. Now, I'm not one of those get-all-sentimental type of people, but this is pure vocal genius.
The video is a mash-up of "Fly" based Disney tunes, and will have you wanting to strap on a pair of wings & be one with a blue-sky world.
Arranged by Jamey Ray, who has a Master of Music degree in Music Technology from New York university, and a Bachelor's degree in Vocal & Piano Performance and Computer Science from Rollins College; this 12 person performance has me wanting to run downstairs and watch every darned Disney animated feature that I own.

Falcon Fury Opens at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Well, folks, the time has come. The long awaited Falcon Fury is now open at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. At 335 feet, this is a mammoth among drop towers. I can't even begin to imagine how I'd feel waiting at the top. I'm typically not afraid of high flyers or drop towers, but this one could-be-the-one. If the slow climb to the top doesn't do you in, the moment your seat is tilted so that you are facing the ground below, may do the trick.
Find out more about the attraction and watch a point-of-view video from each side of the drop.
The Minions Accept the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS
I've always been a fan of Minions. I like the whole mischievous nature, and the smell of bananas.
The Penguins, from Madagascar nominated the Minions to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They accepted the challenge, donated, and have nominated Mickey Mouse, Snoopy, and Bugs Bunny to do the same.
Let's see who is brave enough to accept. For more information and to donate head over to www.als.ca
