Well we made it. Mouse Voyages is finally online. We never, in our infinitely wild dreams, thought the site would grow so big, so fast. It started as a personal webpage to share my vacation experiences and some photos. Three years later, I ask myself; is it completed? The answer is no. Will it ever be completed? Probably not. At this rate Mouse Voyages will be in a constant state of perpetual metamorphosis. It really depends on, you, the site member and content contributor.
You see when Mouse Voyages started. It was set to be my special place to let people know how I enjoyed my Disney vacation. Expanding on my original idea, I invited friends to send their photos and participate in the site creation. Shortly thereafter, we decided to make it a place to assemble Canadian and Quebecois men & women with Disney passion. We have made it YOUR place.
So welcome fellow Canadians, fans of Disney in Canada and Quebec. Make yourself at home. Mouse Voyages was created so that you, my Canadian friends et amis Québécois, can share your Disney vacation experiences, impressions, anecdotes, trip reviews and photos. We hope you feel welcome enough to participate; after all, this site was built for you. Participating is as simple as sending us your impressions of the different attractions, shows, resorts, parks, … whatever. If you’ve got something to say, we’ll gladly listen; and if we can put it online we will happily add it. You are also invited to send your vacation photos, trip reviews, Mr. Potato Head pics, trade pins and much more. Who knows, you may have a Disney fan right around the corner.
Is the site perfect? No. Will it ever be perfect? Probably not. Mouse Voyages isn’t striving for perfection. We strive to be exact but even that we can’t guarantee. Our only hope for improvement is if you, the Disney fan, let us know about our shortcomings, errors or omissions. Please be kind and remember that we are are FANS of Disney not experts. And yes, we too, make mistakes.
Over the course of the next year, we will be launching the site in different phases beginning with the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Up next, the French version; followed by Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Paris, Adventures by Disney and finally Hong Kong & Tokyo. Each destination is accompanied shortly thereafter by it’s sister site in French making Mouse Voyages one of Canada’s first multi-lingual Disney fan sites.
So that’s it in a nutshell. More Canadian content is on the way, the French version is just around the corner and the Mouse Voyages family is growing. We’re thrilled you stopped by and hope to see you again soon. In the meantime enjoy your visit, make a new friend and spread some magic.
One behalf of the entire Mouse Voyages team; Merci et bonne journée.
